The first hour decides the size of the bill
Most emergency damage does not happen in the first minute. It happens in the hours afterwards: water spreading under flooring and into the ceiling below, rain coming through a hole in the roof, a broken window letting in weather and anyone walking past.
That is why the first visit is about stopping the damage, not fixing everything. Board the opening, tarp the roof, extract the water, cut the tree off the house. The permanent repair can then be scoped properly, priced in writing and approved by the owner or the insurer.
What we document
Every emergency visit produces date-stamped photos before, during and after, plus a short written report of what we found and what we did. For owners who are not local, that report is often the only way they know what actually happened at the property.
Insurers and servicers ask for the same things every time: when the damage was found, what it looked like, what was done to prevent further loss, and what it cost. We hand all of that over without being asked.
Storm season
Storms hit a whole area at once, and so does demand for contractors. Owners with properties already on file with us - address, access details, utility shut-off locations - get through the queue faster, because nothing has to be worked out on the night.
